Sorting game - House - 8 stones

My toddler kept trying to jam the wrong pieces in, but the roof panel openings are distinct enough that he's finally getting the hang of matching shapes. The eight wooden stones feel smooth and hefty in his hands, and he'll sit with it quietly for a good fifteen minutes.

Each of the eight wooden pieces fits perfectly into its own little hole, and my toddler loves trying to match them. The house shape makes it easy for her to hold and play with on the floor.

The roof panels are just the right level of challenge for my 18-month-old — she gets so focused trying each piece until it clicks. Love that all eight stones are different shapes, keeps her busy for a good 15 minutes.
