Assembly was surprisingly straightforward, and the brass bushings at each pivot point make the steering action feel precise without any wobble. I used it as a desk model and love how the crank actually turns the wheels smoothly.

The gears mesh so smoothly once everything’s clicked together, and the whole mechanism moves with a satisfying, precise feel. I’ve built it twice just to watch the crank turn the wheels, and the steel parts really hold their alignment.

The assembly guide was clear enough that I had the crank mechanism working in under an hour. The metal gears mesh together really smoothly, which makes the steering action feel satisfyingly precise.
