Quick answer
The eitech My First Laptop is a wooden play laptop that comes with magnetic letters, numbers, and keys—all battery-free—designed to help kids learn letters and numbers through imaginative role play.
Why a battery-free design matters
Unlike electronic toys, this wooden laptop has no screens, batteries, or chargers. That means no glare, no noise, and no need to replace batteries. It's a quieter, safer option for young children who still want to mimic using a laptop.
What the magnetic parts offer
All letters, numbers, and keys are magnetic and can be arranged along the bottom edge of the laptop. This lets kids practice spelling simple words, counting, or just sorting shapes—without needing to hold a pen or press tiny buttons.
Frequently asked questions
- What's inside the box?
- The box contains the wooden laptop body and a set of magnetic letters, numbers, and keys. All pieces are loose and can be arranged on the bottom edge of the laptop.
- How does the laptop work?
- There are no electronics or moving parts. Children place the magnetic pieces on the bottom edge to form words, numbers, or patterns. The laptop itself is a prop for imaginative play—like typing or making calls.
- Is it safe for toddlers?
- Yes. The wooden construction is sturdy, and all pieces are large enough to avoid choking hazards for children ages 3 and up. The magnetic parts are securely attached to the laptop's magnetic strip. Always supervise young children during play to ensure small pieces are not put in the mouth.
- Can it help with learning?
- Yes. The magnetic letters and numbers allow kids to practice the alphabet, spelling, and counting in a hands-on way. The open-ended design encourages creativity and role play, which supports cognitive development.
